TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — A southern Idaho woman is facing 18 charges in Twin Falls County Magistrate Court because prosecutors say she wrote more than $10,000 worth of bad checks.

The Times-News  reports 40-year-old Sheryl Ann Sebren of Kimberly was arraigned Monday on 17 counts of writing a check with insufficient funds and one count of grand theft.

Police say that during March, April and May, Sebren bounced checks at several businesses, including $3,000 worth of checks at Costco. Sebren is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Oct. 11. She has not yet entered a plea.
