Man Hit on Kimberly Road and Killed

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)- A Jerome man was killed late Sunday night after being hit by a car. According to Idaho State Police Douglas S. Cornelison, 50 of Jerome died after being hit by an SUV on U.S. Highway 30 just east of Twin Falls. Police say Jay L. Overmon Jr., 40 of Kimberly was heading west in the SUV when he hit Cornelison who had been crossing the road. The accident happened around 10:30pm and shut the highway down for a little more than 3 hours. The crash is still under investigation.
