Idris Elba (aka Heimdall from 'Thor,' aka Nelson 'Mandela,' aka 'Luthor') has consistently been one of the good guys, upholding truth and justice and 'Pacific Rim' Jaeger robots. But in the 'No Good Deed' trailer, he succumbs to the dark side of psychological nature for this new home invasion flick.

The premise is fairly simple:

A wife and mother of two, lives an ideal life that takes a turn when her family is threatened by a stranger who talks his way into her house, claiming car trouble. The unexpected invitation leaves her terrorized and fighting for survival.

Then again, as an audience member, it's a little creepy to see such a beloved actor as Elba become such a menacing escaped convict, who's especially nasty towards women. Though, perhaps his upcoming role as Mowgli's nemesis Shere Khan will be more threatening?

'No Good Deed' is directed by Sam Miller and features Taraji P. Henson as the previously mentioned terrorized woman. But there's hope for her, as she seems to get the upper hand over her attacker on more than one occasion. We'll see if she survives the night on September 12.
