A former fast food drive-thru clerk will do jail time for repeatedly stealing from the restaurant’s registers. 31 year old Lisa Fabela worked at the Dairy Queen in Burley and stole close to $100,000.  She recently she pled guilty and this week she was convicted of felony grand theft.  Fabela was sentenced to seven years in prison, but is eligible for parole in 18 months.  She could be ordered to pay back over $97,000 she stole as restitution. Her restitution hearing is scheduled for the end of May. Prosecutors argued Fabela deserved a harsh sentence because she had two previous theft convictions in Oregon State.
