MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho (KLIX) No passengers on a school bus where injured after it hit a van that failed to stop at a stop sign in Mountain Home on Friday afternoon. The Elmore County Sheriff says a person driving a small van did not stop at a flashing red light at McMurtrey Road and Canyon Creek Road at around 3:40 p.m. A Caldwell Transportation Co. school bus was not able to stop in time to avoid hitting the van. The impact spun the car into a residence; the driver was taken to an area hospital. The school bus had 27 children on board including the driver, who were not hurt in the crash, according to the sheriff's office. The crash is under investigation.
