Search for Missing Man on the Payette River Called Off

GARDEN VALLEY, Idaho (KTVB)--The search for a man who went missing in Boise County near the Payette River Friday has been called off. Dean Eric Christianson, 43, disappeared during a trip to the Skinny Dipper Hot Springs. His two companions say he left to fill up his canteen at the river, and never returned. After the call for help came in Friday afternoon, the Boise County Sheriff’s Office, Garden Valley Fire, Air St. Luke’s and Idaho Mountain Search and Rescue searched from the water, riverbanks and air, but came up empty.
