The polls open at 8 o’clock this morning  for a special election to determine whether or not voters will support more than 17 school district levies across the southern part of the state.    While some of these levies are new, others are renewals of district bonds already on the books.

As a general rule, polls across the region will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for registered voters, and folks who haven't yet registered to vote can do so at most polling locations.  It's also important to point out that Idaho's recent voter re-districting efforts have changed many polling locations for voters.  Those in doubt of where to vote can contact your county's elections office.  When you vote you must have a photo I.D. Here in the Magic Valley voters are deciding on supplemental levies for  the Hansen School District,  Kimberly , Murtaugh School District,  Jerome, Lincoln, Gooding, Cassia, and Minidoka County school districts.
