Kids love when teachers show movies in class. But a group of 11-year-olds in Colombes, France, got much more than they bargained for when their math teacher gave them a screening of the gruesome torture porn flick 'Saw.' Hey, kids are never too young to learn about existential dread, right?

According to a father of one of the students, he learned about the movie after his visibly shaken child came home from school.

"He returned from school on Monday evening, visibly in some discomfort, not well. I asked him and he told me his math teacher had shown them a horror film during class," said the dad.

It's unclear why teacher Jean-Baptiste Clément decided to show the movie, but the father thinks it may have been a poorly-chosen time filler.

“At the moment the teachers are having staff meetings and parent-teacher meetings, so their classes are cut short and interrupted a bit,” he explained.

Clément was given a one-day suspension from teaching and the Federation of Students’ Parents Councils is considering possible legal action. We'd go a step further and force the teacher to watch all the 'Saw' sequels. That's a fate worse than being sued.
