Thursday a Boise middle school was locked down for over 2 hours, dozens of police occupied the building, roads were blocked, other schools were put on alert, all because of a "folding shovel" used in a class demonstration of WWII.  Are we over-reacting or are these steps necessary due to the volatile nature of today's society?
