TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)- Twin Falls police captured a dog that attacked a person Thursday afternoon  near a school. According to Josh Palmer, city spokesperson, an adult woman was attacked in the area of Wendell and Robins Streets near Robert Stewart Junior High. The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Palmer says victim was walking with another person in the area at around 1:30pm when two pit-bull terrier mix dogs approached them.

Authorities were able to capture one of the dogs while they searched for the other and later captured it.  Both are at the Twin Falls Animal Shelter.

Police along with animal control, firefighters, and assisting agencies spent the afternoon searching for the dog.
