UPDATE:  -  According to Josh Palmer, they are waiting for a signed Witness statement in order to begin a case.  They have spoken with the witness.

Twin Falls, Idaho  ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV )  -  The Twin Falls Police are investigating the report of animal cruelty.  Debbie Blackwood the Director of the Twin Falls Animal Shelter said an adult male brought in an adult cat to the shelter Thursday afternoon around 3pm that had been severely injured.

In a written statement, the witness said he saw four or five young males kicking a cat near the Twin Falls Walmart.  When the witness approached the juveniles, he said they ran away.  He then took the cat to the shelter.

The animal was then taken to a local vet for treatment of a broken back leg and possible internal injuries.  Police are now asking for your help.  If you witnessed this incident, contact the police department at 735-4357.
