Two Jerome Men Arrested for Shooting at Car
Jerome, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) – Jerome Sheriff deputies say a resident in the northwest portion of Jerome county reported he found two men on his property at about 12:30 this Tuesday morning.
When he confronted them to ask them what they were doing, they reportedly jumped into their vehicle and left the scene. The property owner began following them with his vehicle, according to a report. It was then when one of the suspects began shooting a gun at the victim who was right behind their vehicle, deputies say.
One of the bullets struck the victim’s car. The victim called 911 to report the incident. Both cars ended up near a dairy at 1625 East and 2800 South in Gooding County where deputies from the Gooding Sheriff’s Office arrested two men. The Gooding County prosecutor’s office say Trillion Zarazua, 27 of Jerome has been charged with felony discharge of a firearm into an occupied vehicle and possession of a controlled substance-Marijuana. He allegedly was the passenger and was the reported shooter.
The Gooding Prosecutors office says they are planning to seek an enhanced penalty toward Zarazua for the use of the firearm. David Ceballos, 22 of Jerome allegedly was the driver of the vehicle. His charges are aiding and abetting in the unlawful discharge of a firearm into an occupied vehicle and possession of marijuana. At this time, it’s unknown if trespassing charges will be made in Jerome county. The investigation continues.
