UPDATE – Twin Falls Police Arrest Robbery Suspect

The Twin Falls Police Department says tips they received from the public helped them to identify the person who tried to rob an ATM machine at  Zions Bank in February. The tips came in after police released three surveillance photos of the suspect.  The suspect was identified as  32-year-old Melissa Kay Towne of Dietrich. Charges are pending.  Lt. Craig Stotts says the suspect tried to pry open an ATM in the early morning hours of  February 17.  The suspect was not able to get machine open, but caused about $5,000 in damage to the cash machine.  The investigation is continuing.
