The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Magic Valley until 11am today (Jan. 24th).

From the National Weather Service:

The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for freezing rain in the Western Magic Valley and Southern Twin Falls county which is in effect until 11 am mst this morning.

Precautionary/preparedness actions: A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet, or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties.

The Idaho Transportation Department has already closed sections of I84 between Twin Falls and Boise. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibility. Use caution while driving.
