When the Inglourious Basterds script was first leaked online, many noticed immediately that Tarantino had incorrectly spelled the word “inglorious” on the script’s title page. But, it wasn’t just a misspelling on the script, as the film’s official title is Inglourious. When asked about the title in an interview, Tarantino said that he had a reason for the spelling, but that he would never explain it publicly.
