There is an old adage ‘have a job to find a job’. It may not be wrong. But whether you are looking for an upgrade from your current employment, a lateral move to find a new employer, or trying to find a trade, there is something for you in the Magic Valley.

The Idaho Department of Labor hosts an all-industry hiring event on September 28th. Many local employers are looking for qualified applicants and will be all in one place. The event will be at the Twin Falls Reformed Church on Grandview from 4 PM to 6 PM. There should be up to 30 employers there ready to hire new people.

Are There Active Open Jobs Available at the IDOL Hiring Event This Month?

If you are looking for a job, make sure to take copies of your resume and be ready for on-site interviews. Employers have openings and are actively looking for the right person. But this is not just a way for you to drop off a resume..

These employers are also there to help educate job seekers on the type of skills that would be necessary for the different openings available. Perhaps you aren’t ready for a new job yet but can find out what to do to get there.

If you are hunting for the future, take notes. There are plenty of employers hoping for the right person to come along. If you aren’t ready with all the skills for a new job on the 28th, you could be ready when the next opening comes up.
