One Dead After Officer Involved Shooting Incident South of Twin Falls
One man is dead after a vehicle chase and then fleeing from cops on foot in Southern Idaho.
The fatal officer-involved shooting incident happened Saturday morning, March 2nd. The situation began across the Idaho border in Nevada in the Duck Valley Reservation and crossed into Owyhee County in Idaho.

Officers with the U.S. Department of Interior Bureau of Indian Affairs were in pursuit of a male driver who crossed into Owyhee County in Idaho and then ran from his vehicle. Shots were fired and the man was pronounced dead from the injuries he sustained.
The Owyhee County Sheriff’s Department asked Idaho State Police to investigate the shooting.
At this time, detectives are working to determine what caused the vehicle pursuit and what led to the shots being fired.
The Owyhee County Coroner’s Office is working to identify the male and the official cause of death.
Male From Boise Dead After Car Accident Sunday
Idaho State Police are investigating a fatal rollover accident that happened Sunday morning on I84 at milepost 69.5, south of Boise. The driver, a 38-year-old male was pronounced dead at the scene. An adult female passenger was transported to a local hospital with injuries. Neither adult was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. A child, wearing a seatbelt, was also transported to a hospital.
The accident partially blocked traffic for around 4 hours and is under investigation by Idaho State Police.
