The Moscow City Council is renaming the second Monday in October as "Indigenous People's Day" instead of Columbus Day. The council approved the change Monday in a 5-to-1 vote, making it the first city in Idaho to rename the holiday.
Some towns and municipalities are changing from "Columbus Day" to "Indigenous People" day claiming all the bad stuff that has happened to native Americans since our "discovery." Do they have a point or are we getting too politically correct...
