In case you have been living under the rock and/or never go near the Perrine Bridge, Miles Daisher broke the world record for most BASE jumps in one day last week. His last jump turned out to be a very wet one.
I'm surprised we didn't think of this first. If you love ziplines and playing with firearms, you can combine the two. There's a place in Idaho west of Boise that will let you bring out your inner Chuck Norris.
UPDATE! Due to high wind concerns tomorrow, Miles will begin his jumps TODAY (Monday) starting at 11 am! Miles Daisher will attempt to break the world record for most human-powered BASE jumps during a 24-hour period.
We have many in the Magic Valley who enjoy flinging their kayaks over waterfalls. But, many in our area are the small and cute kind. Recently, several kayaks decided to tackle the mighty Mesa Falls in eastern Idaho. This is what happened.
Note to self: If you're only carrying a bow, do not try and get the attention of a black bear. It's entirely possible that encounter would not have a happy ending like this hunter who was charged by a black bear and lived to tell about it.
If you're not familiar with Miles Daisher and Sean Chuma, you obviously know very little about BASE jumping and/or Twin Falls. They both shared a hilarious pic on Instagram which will help you understand how you can jump off bridges and be funny, too.
