Idaho College Graduation Increasing

Idaho ranks near the bottom, among U.S. states, for sending people to college and those students getting their degrees. Experts say that drags down the entire state's economy, but that could be changing. Every seat was filled at Taco Bell Arena on Saturday as Boise State University graduated the highest number of students ever. More than 2,400 degrees were handed out, which is a good sign, according to president of the State Board of Education, Ken Edmunds.

Boise Police Release More Info On Twin Falls Judge DUI Charge

Boise police have released more information regarding a Twin Falls County Magistrate Judge who was recently cited by that department on a charge of excessive DUI.  The Times News reports that Judge Nicole Cannon was pulled over by Boise police in April after a police officer noticed her vehicle had crossed over the fog line at least twice.

Twin Falls Man Victim Of Boise Shooting

The Boise Police Department has released surveillance video  that caught a shooting on camera in downtown Boise early Sunday morning. The images show the suspects but not the victim who KTVB is reporting was a Twin Falls man who was shot in the leg.  However, police have not released the victim’s name.

(AP) - Students at Idaho's public universities will pay $274 to $356 more in tuition next year. The increases approved Wednesday by the state Board of Education are relatively modest compared to those set in recent years as the universities looked to offset declines in state funding.
