One of the men who participated in a home invasion in Dietrich last March is going to prison for at least 20 years. Yesterday 5th District Judge John Butler sentenced Jeremiah Bennett to 20 to 25 years for a kidnapping conviction, 10 years for burglary and 20 years to life for the robbery.

A 29-year-old Jerome man charged with shooting a Jerome police officer during a chase has pleaded not guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and three other felonies.
