Grew up in Los Angeles. Landed my first radio job in 1996 as a news anchor at KAAT/KTNS Oakhurst, CA, after graduating from the Academy of Radio & Television Broadcasting in southern California. I really enjoyed living on Cannery Row, in Monterey, after landing my second job in 1998 with KNRY. Prior to moving to Idaho, I spent 16 years as morning show co-host and production director for Star 94FM, north of Sacramento, in the Sierra Foothills. I also wrote for The Union Newspaper, in Nevada County, CA, part-time from 2009-10. I have a son and daughter, and hanging out with them is my favorite hobby. I also enjoy exploring the coast of the Western US. My life heavily revolves around my football team, the world champion Philadelphia Eagles, of which I’ve been pulling for since the 8th grade. GO BIRDS! And, the Smashing Pumpkins rule!

Staggering Gold Amounts Likely Remain In 4 South Idaho Counties
The Snake River weaves through numerous counties in the southern portion of the state, and it would be incorrect to assume the river has been mostly depleted of minerals such as gold from roughly a quarter-century (1860-1885) of mining in the region.
Barbed Wire Slap Fighting Might Just Be What Twin Falls ID Needs
One of the ways these fight organizers are ramping these contests up is by adding barbed wire to rings, which presents its own set of problems. I'm not sure I trust a highly inebriated, overweight, shirtless man to catch me if a monster slap to the side of my jaw sends me reeling backward.

Idahoans Drinking Green Beer Is As Irish As An Irish Hoedown
Nothing against the Irish, but I've always considered taking part in non-American cultural celebrations as sort of dumb. I didn't grow up knocking pinatas off of tree branches or pounding steins of terrible dark beer in October either.
Southern Idaho Could Have A National Park Without Angering Locals
Having lived in the Magic Valley for years and done my share of exploring in the region, I've traveled throughout land as beautiful as any in the country that people would pay to see if they were aware of it. Many of my favorite attractions in southern Idaho are well outside of the lines of cities like Twin Falls and Boise, and a boundary that connects the sites would make for a stunning national park.
Was A Live Chicken Really Removed From A Calif Farmer’s Wazoo?
I'm guessing this news alert was accidentally sent by someone (or something) who might have some explaining to do Monday morning. If I'm incorrect in this assumption, then it would mark the second time in a year that reports have surfaced about United States farmers acting way too fowl.

Some animal experts believe that the snow aids blood flow in dogs and that our pets enjoy the feeling of a frigid floor of frozen water on their paws. One Idaho dog named "Scooby" lives on a steady diet of the cool, white, atmospheric crystals.

WATCH: Young Kid Absolutely Sticks Twin Falls Bridge BASE Jump
I'm sure of the exact age of the jumper because the video description doesn't mention it, but it's the youngest I've ever seen pull it off. I applaud whoever this kid is for having courage beyond my own.
