The Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic takes flight in September

The annual Spirit Of Boise Balloon Classic, presented by Micron and produced by Townsquare Media, is September 2nd-6th at Ann Morrison Park in Boise.

Truly one of the most beautiful spectacles of the year! Each morning, weather permitting, the Treasure Valley skies are filled with dozens of colorful hot air balloons floating across the Boise horizon.

Wednesday- 9/2/26

Kids Day

7:00 am: Balloon on the field for the first day
7:40 am: Balloons will be inflated and on the field for kids to learn about how they work and even take a free tethered ride!

Thursday, Sept. 3rd, 2026

First Launch

6:45 am - Balloons on the field
7:40 am - First Launch - the first balloons of the event will take flight

Friday, Sept. 4th, 2026

Sponsor Nite And Spectacular Glow

6:45 am: Pilots In The Park
7:20 am: Morning Flight (second launch of the event)
4:00 pm: Inflatable Fun Zone
5:00 pm: Nite Glow Pre Show: vendors, food, and live music
8"45 pm: Nite Glow Spectacular

Family Morning Launch

6:45 am: Balloon in the park
7:20 am: Morning flight (third launch of the event)

The Great Launch (Final day of the event)

5:15 am: Final morning launch (Dawn Patrol has several balloons taking flight before dawn)
6:00 am: Great launch inflation
7:20 am: Last launch of The 35th Annual Spirit Of Boise Balloon Classic (weather permitting)

Throughout each day of The Spirit Of Boise Balloon Classic, Ann Morrison Park will be filled with dozens of vendors, fun activities, food, drink, and live entertainment!

Hot Air Balloon Ride Over Boise with BSU Landing

What a wonderful city we live in with opportunities for fantastic community events like the Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic, celebrating 30 years this year. Check out the photos of the amazing flight and experience below and make sure you scroll to the end to see our epic BSU landing. We landed, deflated and packed up the balloon right in front of the administration building at Boise State University. We had a group of collage students stop and take photos and videos. I will never forget this monumental day. Thank you Boise for being so amazing.
