Hey. Hey you. Did you pay your rent on time this month, like, in full? If so, great job. You may very well be a rich person, because the current rental rates in Boise are getting downright violent.

Wait. I was just looking at apartments in Boise. What's the deal with rent?

It's high as hell, that's the deal!

Sarcasm aside, it is quite expensive if you'd like to live in an edifice with a roof in Boise in 2025. Let's look at the numbers and see just how dismal it is.

According to Zillow, the average rental price in Boise is currently $1,850. That's covering al bedrooms, and all property types.

Could you find a place for cheaper? Sure. Are there more expensive options you could entertain? Absolutely. However, right around $1,900 is what most Boisians are paying monthly to live in their place.

Here's the absolutely insane part. Somehow, Boise is 7% lower than the national average when it comes to rent payment. We mean this sincerely, who in the hell is able to afford this?

Unfortunately, this is a trend that has been happening in Boise for sometime. These expensive and outrageous rental rates sadly aren't anything new.

It's not much better for our neighbors, either. In Montana, those folks are dishing out an arm and a leg to be able to afford to pay their rent in full month to month.

Brb. Going to sell some internal organs so I can live in my place.
