Can Minors Get Tattooed In Idaho?
Maybe you're a teenager looking to express yourself. Maybe you're a parent who's underage child is interested in getting their first tattoo. Maybe you're a tattoo artist and you're worried about breaking the law.
Don't worry. We're going to take care of all three of you.

So, what's the deal? Can someone under 18-years-old get tattooed in Idaho? Also, can a tattoo artist legally give a tattoo to someone who's not a legal adult?
To sum it up, yes. Minors can legally get a tattoo in Idaho. That's correct. A person under 18-years-old is legally allowed to get tattooed in Idaho. Per the Idaho State legislature:
(2) No person shall knowingly tattoo, brand, facilitate use of a tanning device or perform body piercing on any minor under the age of fourteen (14) years.
So there you go! Want to get a tattoo, but you're not 18 yet? Just ask mom or dad to come along and give you permission.
See, that was pretty easy, wasn't it?
Just know that once you get one tattoo, you're most likely going to become addicted. Ask anyone who's gone under the needle, and they're most likely to tell you that it wasn't (or won't be) their last time visiting a tattoo parlor.
Even some of the biggest stars we played are covered in tattoos. Case in point: Travis Barker from Blink 182. The pop-punk drummer god is (more or less) covered from head-to-toe in ink.
