Idaho Man, With Kid In Car, Found With Cocaine & Other Drugs

To be frank, we are 100% not encouraging you to do anything that would lead to you getting arrested by Idaho Police. That being said, if you were simply wondering what type of crime could get you in trouble the fastest, read on!

Cocaine, and other drugs, and a CHILD in the car? What the hell happened?

It's a doozy, alright.

A 26-year-old man in Idaho Falls was arrested after a simple traffic stop for speeding. Beltran Higuera, the driver, was discovered to have 200+ grams of cocaine in the car, 1.5 pounds of marijuana, and a young child in the back seat.

The suspect was charged with felony trafficking cocaine, felony trafficking marijuana and felony possession of a controlled substance with a child present. All very not-good things if you're trying to stay out of jail.

If charged with all of the above crimes, Higuera could be facing life in prison. His preliminary hearing is on September 17th.

Luckily, this case seems to be pretty open and shut, to us a least. However, that isn't always the case when it comes to crimes committed here in Idaho.
