Thursday, April 27 Through Saturday, April 29 JIVE Spring Showcase
The Twin Falls High School JIVE group is back in action this weekend, and you won't want to miss this year's show. They will be performing Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at Twin Falls High School in the John Roper Auditorium. Shows will be at 7 PM every night, with a show at 2 PM also on Saturday. Tickets are $8 per person or $25 for a family of 7 or more. If you are unable to make it, you can live stream the show from home for $15. Thursday, April 27 Through Saturday, April, 29 - Shoshone Falls After Dark
Shoshone Falls After Dark is back, and could not pick a better weekend to begin with. If you have never been or seen the show, load up the car and go this weekend. It all begins Thursday and will be happening through Saturday night. It is $25 per car and $35 for oversized vehicles. Tickets sell out quickly, so do not hesitate. Friday, April 28, and Saturday, April 29 - Spring at the Ranch
One of the best things to do this time of the year is to get out and do some shopping, and what better way than to go to a vendor sale? Spring at the Ranch will be taking place this weekend in Glenn's Ferry at the Fairgrounds and will be happening on Friday and Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM. There will be much to shop for including handcrafted items, and you can't shop while hungry, so stop by for some Broken Bones BBQ as well. Friday, April 28, and Saturday, April 29 - CSI Softball
Get out this weekend and spend some time sitting in the bleachers taking in a softball game or two or four. The CSI Softball team will be hosting four games against Utah State University Eastern this Friday and Saturday, with games at 1 PM and 3 PM on Friday and 12 PM and 2 PM on Saturday. Friday, April 28, and Saturday, April 29 - CSI Baseball
With the weather being so nice this weekend, it makes for the perfect time to get outside and enjoy a baseball game, while cheering on a local team. The CSI baseball team is in action this weekend, with four games against Community Christian College, two on Friday and two on Saturday. The games on Friday are at 12 PM and 2 PM, and the games on Saturday are at 11 AM and 1 PM. The baseball team currently is 28-16 and riding a two-game winning streak. Friday, April 28, and Saturday, April 29 - 'Peter Pan Jr'
The Orpheum Theatre is constantly putting on great shows to entertain the residents of Twin Falls and the Magic Valley, and this weekend will be no different, with 'Peter Pan Jr' taking place this weekend. There will be three shows this weekend, with one on Friday at 7 PM, and two on Saturday at 2 PM and 7 PM. Tickets start as low as $14.50 and go all the way up to $66.50 for box seating. Saturday, April 29 - Over the Falls Climbing Competition
Do you enjoy a thrill? Are you an avid rock climber? Put your skills to the test and show off your ability in the first Over the Falls Climbing Competition this Saturday. The event will be taking place at the Shoshone Falls and will begin at 7 AM, hosted by the Southern Idaho Climbing Coalition. The competition will be open to climbers of all different types of experience, and there will be instructors as well to help improve your skills or learn how to climb. Saturday, April 29 - Free Boat Safety Course
The nicer the weather gets the more boats will begin coming out. Perhaps you got a new boat this year, or need a refresher course on boat safety. There is a free boat safety class this weekend being put on Cassia County's Sherriff Office. The course will be from 8 AM to 4 PM, and while this may not seem like the most exciting way to spend your weekend, it might be the most productive. Saturday, April 29 - CSI Open House
If you enjoy free things, then make sure to stop by the CSI campus this weekend for the CSI Open House. The event will take place from 11 AM to 3 PM and will have free food, such as free hot dogs, ice cream, and French fries. There will be a zipline, a petting zoo, face painting, and balloon art. Saturday, April 29 - Candy Coating Class
A great way to spend a weekend is sipping on some fine wine, but why not do it while listening to live music and learning how to coat candy with your family? There is a candy coating class this Saturday at Holesinsky Winery out in Buhl from 2 PM to 5 PM. The cost is $49 for adults and $35 for kids. There will be live music performed by Avery Soloaga and you will be able to try 3 different wines. In terms of candy, you will have multiple coating options, and be able to take home a candy jar with tongs for your new creations.
