Twin Falls is blessed to have many eating options, and as the town grows, more and more have moved in. In the last year alone, there has been Chipotle moved in, Wing Stop is set to open later this year, Papa John's returned in the last couple of years, and more continue to move in and return to the area. It is nice to have so many eating options, but there is one issue the town needs to address. The more and more people that move here, the longer the lines get, the longer the wait, and the more frustrating it is to get something that a person craves. There needs to be more locations for certain places, but choosing which ones to add to another location and which ones to leave out is a tough call.

When it comes to eating fast food in Twin Falls, rarely will you hear someone complain about the line and wait at McDonald's. Why? They have multiple locations around town, and if one is busy, you can go to the next. The same can be said for Dutch Bros, Starbucks, Burger King, and Dairy Queen. All of these have multiple locations, which make it convenient for customers to go to whichever is the closest to them, or has the shortest line. Many places in town have one option, and it can often be a burden if that is what you are craving that night. Chick-fil-A, Taco Bell, Sonic, and Arby's are some of the places that often have long waits, and a second location would be a great addition and be more customer-friendly in town.

Not every chain can add a second location, so who needs a second one the most and where should it go? The two most obvious options, based on the average line, are Chick-fil-A and Taco Bell. Both drive-thrus often extend well past where they should, and the wait can be at times over 20 minutes, which is a decent amount for a fast-food drive-thru. One of the fastest growing areas is off of Cheney in front of Walmart, across from the high school. This would make a great location for either place, as students could walk from school to get lunch, as well as employees or visitors of the hospital could grab food before going in. Another option would be somewhere off of Addison, as it is on the other side of town from the previous locations, but finding a place to add would be more difficult, with less room to work with.
