Running errands is often one of the most frustrating things that have to be done every week. Going to the grocery store is never fun, and can be a miserable experience, especially depending on how the shoppers around you are acting. This is one of the reasons that many opt to do online shopping, so they can avoid going in and dealing with other shoppers. Many prefer to go in and browse the shelves to make sure they get everything they need, including the right brands and the cheaper prices. Each store you go into, no matter if it is clothing, electronics, grocery, or any kind, they all have shoppers that do dumb things. It is the world we live in. When it comes to Idaho, specifically the Magic Valley, here is how the major stores rank when it comes to who has the dumbest shoppers in the area.

5) Target in the Magic Valley

Target has some of the smarter shoppers when it comes to this list, as typically they understand how parking lots work, as well as not taking over whole aisles. The main issue that Target sees when it comes to having dumb shoppers, is far too many like to get into the store and stop in front of the main entrance, either to take off their sunglasses, put their phones away, have a conversation, or some other reason. Blocking the entrance so others can't get in isn't too smart, but overall Target shoppers are not too bad.

4) Fred Meyer in Twin Falls

Fred Meyer is similar to Target in that overall their shoppers aren't the worst.  They don't block the entrance as often, but they do use their carts to block aisles and to make sure other shoppers can't get to their items or get around the store. Conversations happen in front of bread and milk far too often. Step to the side and let others around and get their groceries, please.

3) Walmart in the Magic Valley

It may be surprising to many to not see Walmart number one on this list, but we will get to that in the following paragraphs. Walmart comes in at number three, with the parking lot alone being a major factor. People walking in front of cars, cars almost hitting people, not knowing how to park, and not knowing how to put a cart back all play factors in their shoppers not being the smartest. Once inside the store, people stop in front of where you get your cart, they stop at the entrance, they block items people are looking at, and make shopping a nightmare. Overall, they aren't the brightest, but there are still places that are worse in Idaho.

2) WinCo in Idaho

Coming in at number two is WinCo. Have you ever walked into WinCo and not been mad at someone within the first minute? It is pretty tough to do. Pulling into the store parking lot will likely have you upset before you ever get out of the car, as shoppers are darting in front of cars, not even realizing other people are around them. They block the entrance, they cut you off in the store, they stand in front of essential items and they make it tough to navigate. Often, you may be reaching for something or looking for an item, to only have a shopper take the one you were reaching for or stand in front of you to block your view. Be a little nicer and considerate in WinCo and it could make the experience better for everyone.

1) Costco in the Gem State

The number one store with the dumbest shoppers in Idaho is none other than Costco. Something about the store brings out the stupidity in people. They can't figure out how to navigate a parking lot, as many will spend a good 15 minutes trying to find the perfect spot, instead of taking the logical options. Customers coming in and out of the store seem to be begging to be hit by a car. They have no idea where a cart is supposed to go, and that is before you enter the store. Customers walk down the center of every aisle so nobody can get around, they stop and turn their carts to block an aisle to talk like a road closure. They always stop at the main entrance to make a phone call so nobody can get around them to start their shopping, and the food court always has people sitting, taking up space even though they don't have food, while a family or elderly people are left standing and could use the seat. Nobody seems to leave Costco in a good mood, and it is because of all the stupidity that takes place from the customers.
