
Highway Homicide: Idaho State Police Find Body with Gunshot Wound

Idaho State Police are investigating a homicide in Southern Idaho after finding a deceased body with a gunshot wound on a high-traffic highway.
The body was found on Interstate 15 near milepost 85 on February 28th around 10:30 PM. Detectives are requesting specific information about the incident location and what occurred there on the evening of February 28
Idaho State Police found the body while traveling northbound on the highway. They stopped for a white Toyota Camry that was pulled off on the shoulder with its hazard lights on.
Troopers approached the vehicle and found that the 31-year-old driver from Utah was dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

‘The Bingham County Coroner’s Office has ruled the death a homicide’ according to the press release from the ISP.
The investigation is ongoing, and as an open-case homicide, no other information can be provided by authorities. The coroner will release the identity of the deceased male.

While authorities can’t release any additional information, they are looking for information from the public.
ISP detectives are looking for help from anyone who may have information about the homicide. The body was found on I-15 at milepost 85 north of Forth Hall - between Chubbuck and Blackfoot.
Any drivers who were in the area and saw any other vehicles stopped with the Camry, other people with the car, or any suspicious activity are encouraged to provide any information they have to detectives.
