The main purpose of a staffing company is to attempt to make good fits between people and potential employers. This connection will not be successful if a person believes that they can earn a living by working when they feel like it and by doing the bare minimum.

I've spent some time on the front lines employed by a Twin Falls staffing agency in a supervisory position, and I've directed a group of temporary staffers on the factory floor of one of the county's largest employers. When it comes to a desire to work, people either have it, or they don't; there's no in-between.

A recent post on the Rants and Raves Twin Falls Facebook page caught my attention. A local decided to air some grievances directed toward one of Twin Falls' staffing companies, and was attempting to persuade members to avoid this company at all costs. Now, I'm not calling out this individual, nor am I defending the company that was put on blast, but I will say that I have first-hand experience working in this field and can say that these employment businesses usually have the worker's best interest in mind.
