Southern Idaho is being represented very well in a new reality series that features some of the best mixologists in the United States. Netflix is streaming the new cocktail reality series Drink Masters, and I checked out the first episode Wednesday night.

As a former bartender, when I heard Netflix had a new show where cocktail makers across the country compete for a $100,000 prize, it hooked me right away. The bartending industry has changed a lot in the past 20 years. Bar menus at the nicest establishments in the world have not only gotten more in-depth and flashy, but the occupation itself has become very appealing due to the amount of money these men and women can make during a single shift.

Drink Masters is in its first season on Netflix and features 12 of the best in the business. The show is hosted by comedian Tone Bell, who assigns the bartenders challenges to create impressive drinks and present them to a panel of three judges made up of restauranteurs and other established professionals.

Aisling Gammill is a female contestant who works in southern Idaho. She has a TikTok channel that features some of her talents and can be found at @jellyfishdrinks. We hope Aisling goes far in the competition and wish her the best of luck.

To locate Drink Masters, just do a search on Netflix. It's a trending show, so it won't be hard to find. If you enjoy a good drink from time to time, you'll like the show, and the contestants are world-class.
