(AP) - Students at Idaho's public universities will pay $274 to $356 more in tuition next year. The increases approved Wednesday by the state Board of Education are relatively modest compared to those set in recent years as the universities looked to offset declines in state funding.
A new budget for the 2012 fiscal year has been approved by the College of Southern Idaho Board of Trustees. The budget is an increase over 2011 of $1.396 million dollars, or just under a four percent increase.

Tuition fees are going up again at the College of Southern Idaho. The CSI student government representatives voted this week to pay another $5 per credit, making the tuition fee $110 per credit hour at CSI.
