(KLIX)-Next week the Shoshone Falls boat ramp will be closed. Boaters will have to find another spot to get onto the river. Crews will have scheduled maintenance to the ramp on Tuesday August 7th. (KLIX)-The Perrine Bridge will have to wait its resurfacing. The Idaho Transportation Department announced the project has been pushed back to next year. Equipment availability initially delayed the project to early fall. But officials decided to push it back to the summer of 2013 so not to interfere with community activities this year...

You might have heard by now that the Twin Falls Community Work Center will soon be closing its doors. The center, which is operated by the Idaho Department of Corrections, allows about 80 non- violent offenders to work in the community while serving out their sentences. The department says it's closing the center due to budget constraints.
