Summer Camps in The Twin Falls Area

The kids are almost out of school! If you need to find something for them to do the Magic Valley offers a lot of great summer programs for all ages of children during the summer.

1. The Boys and Girls Club

Sign-up on-line on their KidTrax website. Visit www.bgcmv.com and click the Twin Unit link.

They are offering over 50 camps this year, which are again run in two sessions-a morning session beginning at 9:30am and an afternoon session beginning at 1:30pm each day. Camps will run for one week. Sign up for an AM session, a PM session, or both… whatever works for the needs of your kids. They include a one-time Field Trip fee of $40 due by June 10th. Our summer camps begin the week of June 10th and run for 11 weeks straight.

The Club will close at 5:30pm on June 3, 4, and 5th and will be completely closed June 6 & 7th for cleaning, maintenance and staff training. As always, both ICCP and scholarships are available through the Club. We will be requiring all kids and parents to attend a mandatory Summer Orientation meeting before your child can attend our Summer program. Even if you’ve been to our previous orientations, you’ll need to plan on attending one of our sessions in May: 1st, 8th, 15th or 22nd at 6:00pm here at the Club.

2. Lighthouse Vacation Bible School

3.  First Baptist Church in Twin Falls Cathedral Pines Camp Information

Junior High Camp 6/23 to 6/28- Jr High Camp is for students entering grades 6th through 8th. Camp begins Sunday, June 22nd at 2:00 pm–ending Friday, June 27th at 1pm

4.      Amazing Grace – Twin Falls

Coming in July CYC Summer Camp is a powerful time for youth (ages 12-18) when they get away from their comfortable surroundings and go to a mountains camp location to experience God, fellowship and fun. During the week-long camp, daytime activities like river rafting, paintballing, hiking, capture the flag or spend the day at the lake.

5. The Reform Church – Twin Falls

Nothing But Net Basketball camp is BACK!!!  Calling all kids!!!

Do you love to play basketball?  Do you want to come to camp and have an awesome time?  Then Nothing But Net is for YOU!!!


Camp #1:   Girls 6th-8th Grades     June 16-19
*This camp will teach and develop guard and post play in the areas of shooting, passing, ball handling, position specific offense/defense and rebounding strategy. These skills will be taught through the use of small group stations and applied in 3–on–3 and full court game situations.

Camp #2:   Boys 6th-8th Grades     June 23-26
*This camp will teach and develop guard and post play in the areas of shooting, passing, ball handling, position specific offense/defense and rebounding strategy. These skills will be taught through the use of small group stations and applied in 3–on–3 and full court game situations.

Camp #3:  Boys & Girls 3rd-5th Grades  June 30-July 3
*This camp is a basic fundamental camp that will introduce and develop beginning and intermediate strategies and skills for individual and team play. Stations will include rebounding, shooting, passing, ball handling, and defense. Players will also apply and practice what they have learned in game situations.

Time: 9:00am-1:00pm daily
Cost: $50 per camp  ($60 at the door)

T-Shirt, prizes, team picture and more!)

6. CSI Summer Camps

  • Youth Fine Arts Camps 2014 CSI Theatre Camp
  • Theatre Camp: July 7 – 11, 2013

Ages: 10 – 18

Hey, kids, want to go to the one summer camp where you’ll learn how to use stage makeup to give yourself (or somebody else) bruises, gashes, and old man wrinkles? Do you want to learn how to swing a sword, take a fake punch, and fall without getting hurt? How about spending your mornings building and decorating an entire room while learning how to speak like an Englishman or a Southern Belle in the afternoon? All of this and more is available in the week-long adventure that is CSI Theatre Camp!

  • Jazz Camp: July 7 -11, 2013

Ages: 13 and up
The CSI Jazz camp is an opportunity for students and lovers of jazz age 13 and up to experience the art of making jazz music with world class musicians!

  • Dance Camp July 20th – August 1st

Ages: 12 and up
CSI/IDAA Summer Dance Camp, held on the beautiful College of Southern Idaho campus, is for intermediate- to advanced-level dancers who are twelve or older and who want a challenging and rewarding summer camp experience in dance.

  • Dance Diva Ages 5-8
  • BYU and has taught dance for 20 years. She specializes in the dance education of young children. Diva Dance will be offering summer camps which will help students to understand the basics in dance movement while having fun and getting exercise. Cost of the camp includes a T-shirt.Date: Tuesday, June 8-Thursday, June 10

  • Log Cabin Literary Camp -Idaho Writing Camps in Twin Falls: June 10 – 14, 2013
    Ages: Going into grades 3 – 9
    Each summer, Idaho Writing Camps offer children and youth in grades 3 – 9 the opportunity to explore and engage in creative writing adventures – and to become published authors!
  • Music Fest!: June 24 – 28, 2013
    Ages: 12 – 18
    This is an annual event, an opportunity for students age 12 – 18 to grow musically and socially in a day camp setting on the beautiful CSI campus!

9. CSI Herrett Center for Arts and Science – CSI
