(KLIX)- The Twin Falls City Public Works department should have a new roof over their head this winter. Last night the city council approved the purchase of the old Sun Valley Stages bus barn. Its located just south of Rock Creek off of Washington Street South
Construction of a brand new building on the College of Southern Idaho campus is scheduled to get underway later this year. The $6.6-million facility will be built along North College Road across from the new Health Science building.
As a way to help alleviate the $2.4-million dollar gap in the city budget, the city of Twin Falls will lay off two employees in the city building department and freeze seven other full time positions.
