Authorities Look For Cause Of Parachute Failure In Death Of Base Jumper
Authorities continue to try and figure out why a 38 year old BASE jumper 's parachute failed to properly open on Saturday, sending the man to his death. The accident happened just before eleven at the Perrine Bridge. James Certain from Huntsville, Alabama was jumping alone when his chute failed to fully open. Certain fell into the Snake River. Eyewitnesses attempted to perform life saving measures, but authorities say he most likely died on impact.
