Idaho Man Arrested in Death of Baby

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) — A 20-year-old Idaho Falls man has been arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder in the December death of a 16-month-old girl.

Police arrested Antonio Marcos Bautista on Tuesday morning. He was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday afternoon. The Post Register reports the 16-month-old Fort Hall girl died of a skull fracture at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City.

Bonneville County Prosecutor Bruce Pickett said Bautista knew the child, but he was unsure how.
