BOISE, Idaho (AP) — State health officials say drinking raw milk likely sickened eight people in southwestern Idaho. The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare in a statement Tuesday says the individuals drank unpasteurized milk produced by Natural Farm Fresh Dairy of Kuna in the week before getting sick.

State Public Health Veterinarian Leslie Tengelsen says anyone who recently purchased milk at the dairy shouldn't drink it. The Idaho State Department of Agriculture is working with the dairy to confirm that the raw milk at the dairy is the source of the illnesses.

State officials say the dairy is cooperating. The dairy says it is removing all raw milk products on shelves and has ceased distribution until testing is complete.
