Interstate Amusement Is Closing Twin Cinema 12 and Refunding Cinema Cash
After almost 50 years in business, Twin Cinema 12 is closing it's doors on May 29th for good.
The Eastland property has sold and while we don't yet know what's in store for the property, it's our understanding that plans do not include a movie theater.
At the moment, it also looks like the Drive-Ins may stay open for the rest of the season.
The Jerome property shut down at the beginning of the year and there are reports that the downtown Orpheum Theater property (also closing) is being looked at by a prospective buyer.
Interstate Amusement sold "cinema cash" to patrons that could be used like cash at any Interstate Amusement theater. Until May 29th, they are offering refunds for cinema cash. To get your refund, take your valid cinema cash to the Eastland offices at Twin Cinema 12 from 930am to 230pm. You can also get a refund at the box office during regular showtime hours.
