Investigation Continues in Missing Idaho Boy
POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Local law enforcement officials in eastern Idaho say they are continuing to investigate a missing 2-year-old who went missing during a family camping trip nearly four months ago.
The Idaho State Journal reports that the Lemhi County Sheriff's Office confirmed that deputies are still investigating the case. However, officials declined to comment on possible leads or suspects. The boy, DeOrr Kunz, was last seen on July 10th at his family's campsite at Timber Creek Campground, just south of the town of Leadore near the Montana border.
Despite numerous searches, no trace of Kunz has been recovered. Tina Bates Clegg, the boy's grandmother, says family and friends are posting pictures of Kunz across the state. Meanwhile, the parents — Jessica Mitchel and DeOrr Kunz Sr. — continue to search the campsite on the weekends.
