New Viral Video: Guy Drives Car Into Dealer Hours From Boise
Angry Customer Crashes Into Dealership Over Refund
Let this be a lesson for anyone upset with a car dealership, a lesson of what not to do! A confrontation unfolded at a dealership in Utah, just a couple of hours from Boise. A dissatisfied customer took extreme measures to voice his frustration just hours after purchasing a used car. Luckily, no one was injured, and it was all captured on video for you to see.
The Chaotic Incident
According to TMZ, footage from the scene shows the vehicle crashing through the dealership's glass windows at full speed, sending glass throughout the dealership and even hitting a desk. The impact caused significant damage, including shattering a countertop. Amid the wreckage, the driver exited the car, shouting, "I told you, motherf***ers!" He then began pacing angrily, with witnesses in disbelief of what just happened.
The Police reported that the guy who purchased the car found that it had mechanical issues and then demanded a refund. The dealership rejected his request, citing the "as is" purchase policy.
What You Need To Know
Just a heads up that car sales in Idaho, like Utah, often have the "as is" policies when selling used vehicles as well. This typically means that once a buyer signs the paperwork, any mechanical issues become their responsibility.
Legal Consequences and Lessons Learned
The customer was arrested shortly after the crash, with charges that included felony criminal mischief and reckless endangerment. Police confirmed he is now in custody and awaiting further legal action.
