Going to Costco is something that many enjoy. They have great deals, are constantly changing out their product, have free samples, and it is typically a fun outing for the whole family. It is the one store that everyone enjoys and gets something out of going, which is why it can often take longer than most errands. Having a Costco in the Magic Valley is a luxury, and it is hard to imagine not having it. You can get gas, auto work done, food, clothes, medicine, and everything you need at one location. One of the best parts about Costco is its affordable food court, which makes for an easy lunch after shopping. The food court at the Magic Valley Costco is set to close, but for how long, and what does it mean for customers moving forward?

A sign was posted inside of Costco last week notifying customers that the food court would be closing on Monday, April 1 for a remodel. It has left many distraught, as the food court is a great place to grab an affordable meal, eat quickly, and go on about your day. After reaching out to Costco, it has been confirmed that the food court will be closed, starting today, April 1, and is expected to be closed for the next three weeks. When asked about what the remodel would include, we were not given that information. As we get more information on the remodel, we will update you.

It'll be tough for the next few weeks to not be able to enjoy the food court options at Costco. There will be no $10 pizzas or $1.99 slices, there will be no soft serve ice cream, no hotdog and drink combo for $1.50, or any other options. This will force many to adjust for the next couple of weeks as grabbing a slice or a hotdog on the way out of the store is easy to eat on the go, or eating before you start your shopping, for less than $5.

Continue to check back as more details come in on the remodel and if anything changes moving forward. Make sure to eat before a Costco visit if you are someone who typically gets something from the food court, or load up on free samples to counteract your lack of a meal.
