Fast Food Chain in ID, WA, and UT to Close Hundreds of Locations

The last few years have seen some once-popular food chains close many locations across the country, and even some go out of business altogether. It is sad to keep seeing these places close, but luckily, many have stayed around as well. It is always scary to hear when a food chain is closing locations, not knowing if the one closest to you will be on the list, which could mean that you won't be enjoying their food as often anymore, or at all. A popular fast food chain has announced it will be closing hundreds of locations, and Idaho, Washington, and Utah could be affected. 

Fast Food Chain in Idaho, Washington, and Utah Closing Locations 

There are certain fast food chains that everyone enjoys visiting. Some like to use them as a cheat meal, some like to use them to avoid making dinner, and others like them to eat healthy or for the delicious food. One popular fast food chain that most enjoy is Wendy's, and they appear to be doing well lately compared to others. Wendy's recently released a new food item that many are enjoying in their Wendy's Tendys chicken tenders. Despite the buzz around the new food item and the long lines at the drive-thru, Wendy's has announced they will be closing hundreds of stores by the end of 2025 and into 2026.

Wendy's Closing Hundreds of Locations

Wendy's currently has over 1,600 locations nationwide, but in the coming months, it will see that number drop drastically as they looks to close between 200 and 300 locations. Before you get nervous about your location closing, they will be picking ones that are consistently underperforming and dragging down the fast food chain's performance overall. It is unknown at the time of writing which locations will be closing, as no stores have been identified yet, but if the Wendy's that you prefer has a steady flow of customers, there should be nothing to worry about. If the place is empty and you rarely see people in the drive-thru or going in to order, there is more cause for concern. With this many stores closing, odds are high that at least a few will close in Washington, Utah, and Idaho.
