When a person goes grocery shopping, there are certain items they get every time. Fruit, milk, and meat are typically essentials that one must get, but there are also certain snack foods and other items that typically end up in the cart. Each family goes through certain snacks faster than others, and they have to be restocked at home more frequently. How would you feel if you go to the store one day, and find out that one of the snacks you enjoy most, is no longer on the shelf? It isn't gone because they are out of stock and will have more the next day or week, but they won't be returning ever. There are a few food items that won't be returning to shelves in Idaho this year, and likely won't be stocked again for a long time, if ever.

No More Pringles in Idaho

Before anyone freaks out, no not all Pringles are being discontinued, but certain flavors will no longer be available. Sadly, wavy Pringles will no longer be on the shelves. Sweet and Spicy BBQ, Honey Mustard, Applewood Smoked Cheddar, Fire Roasted Jalapeno, and plain Jalapeno will all no longer be options to buy in stores in Idaho. If these are the ones you enjoy, you will need to find different versions to try.

Nabisco Famous Chocolate Wafers

Has anyone had a Nabisco wafer? Do you know anyone who buys them? They have been in stores for as long as I can remember, but nobody I know has ever bought them. That might be why they have been discontinued. If you are one of the few that bought them, you will need to find an alternative.

With so many different coffee options these days, it isn't surprising to see certain items be discontinued to try something new, or because they aren't selling well. One of the casualties is the Dunkin Donuts Dunakaccino. You might need to change up your order the next time you go through a Dunkin Donuts.

There is no Trader Joe's in the Magic Valley, but many residents make it a priority to stop at one when going through Salt Lake City or Boise. If one of the treats you enjoy is the Minty Mallows, you sadly are out of luck. These treats typically come around the holidays, but they will not be returning at the end of this year.

Cheerios has tried many things through the years and Maple Cheerios was one of their newest creations. They either weren't selling well, or the company decided to put their efforts elsewhere, as the maple version of the popular cereal will no longer be an option going forward.

With so many pasta options, when one goes away it is tough to notice at first, unless it is your favorite one. Ronzoni Pastina is going away, so for those who enjoy them, you will need to find a different type to use from now on.

Sadly, these items are no longer available, but luckily there are alternatives to each one. It is sad when items go away, especially if you enjoyed them. We will miss the items above and hope that perhaps one day they make a return, but as far as 2024 goes, they won't be available in Idaho.
