4 Items That Are Leaving or Have Left Costco in 2025 in ID, WA, and UT
Not many people like change, especially when it comes to their favorite items or favorite stores. Some enjoy buying the same things from their favorite stores, and when something is discontinued or out of stock, it can ruin someone's day and be a disappointment. One item that people hate to see go away is food, because once the item is gone, you will never taste it again, and the deliciousness will only become a memory. One store that many enjoy is Costco, and when they make changes, it often disappoints many customers. Prepare to be disappointed, as there are some items Costco is getting rid of in 2025, and it has customers feeling a certain way.
Roast Beef Sandwich Leaving Costco
Not every Costco offered the roast beef sandwich, but its short life at Costco has officially come to an end. It was introduced in 2023, and in 2025 is no longer on the menu. The reviews on the sandwich were not great, but there will be customers who miss it and are sad to see it go.
No More Churros at Costco
Unlike the roast beef sandwich, the churros at Costco have been a fan favorite and will disappoint many customers now that it is gone. They have been removed from the menu before in the food court but were brought back after backlash. Hope is high that similar backlash could see the churro return once again, but for now, it is off the menu indefinitely.
Costco Changing From Pepsi to Coke
One of the biggest items to go away this year at Costco is that all stores across the country will wave goodbye to Pepsi products, and welcome Coke products to the soda fountains. For some, this is not an issue at all, but for others, it is a big deal. Loyal Pepsi drinkers are not happy, while loyal Coke enthusiasts welcome the change. Either way, it will add a new taste to the food court at Costco in 2025.
Costco Getting Rid of Chocolate Chips
Stepping out of the food court, many will be disappointed to find out Costco will no longer be selling Kirkland brand chocolate chips moving forward. The cost of the chocolate chips has gone up significantly, and in a cost-cutting measure, Costco has decided to no longer sell the item. Don't worry, other brands of chocolate chips will still be available to buy, but the often well-priced Kirkland brand is no longer an option.

Change is never fun, and some of these changes will have customers saddened, but as time goes on, they will find replacement items that will hopefully fill the need for the ones that are no longer available. If your store still has any of the items listed above, it is best to enjoy them while you can.
