WATCH: Odd Behavior in the Middle of the Night in the Magic Valley

The phrase 'There is nothing to do in Twin Falls,' has been uttered many times by many people. Residents and teens are constantly looking for things to do to entertain themselves. There is plenty to do if someone knows where to look, but thanks to the internet and TikTok, some teens have begun to get bad ideas on ways to entertain themselves. It is one thing to do fun dance videos in a store or the mall, but when teens looking to make these videos start messing with innocent people and doing illegal activity it isn't fun. Lately, there has been some odd behavior around Twin Falls, and some of it has been caught on tape, while other situations have spread by word of mouth. It is not ok and has gotten out of hand.

Knocking on Doors in the Middle of the Night in Twin Falls

This past weekend in Twin Falls there was some odd behavior, and it wasn't only one incident. One of the situations was caught on camera when two teenagers came to a family's house and rang their doorbell in the middle of the night. As you can see above, they cover their faces and have their phone out, as if they are recording. If you listen closely, you can hear at the beginning of the video that they notice the doorbell camera, but they continue and ring it anyway. Typically when someone approaching a door, especially in the middle of the night, mentions a camera, they likely do not have good intentions. It is unknown what these two young men had planned, as the homeowner wisely did not answer, but it was odd behavior indeed. 

Odd Behavior in the Magic Valley

The situation above was not the only odd behavior this last weekend as there were multiple mentions of two young women asking strangers for help at two in the morning. Numerous residents who saw them or talked to the two women, had their stories match up, which was the women appeared to be lost and looking for Costco, yet were on the wrong side of town, and during hours that the store was not open. Not many would open the door for strangers at two in the morning, nor should they. Both of these instances are a part of a long list of odd behaviors recently in the Magic Valley, especially when knocking on doors and ringing doorbells in the middle of the night.

If you have anybody knock on your door in the middle of the night, do not answer it. Sadly, someone who could need actual help could be at your door and not receive it, but it is better to be safe than sorry. These incidents are proof as to why everyone should have security cameras or doorbell cameras, to put an end to this type of behavior. If you see anything like this occurring, make sure to notify the police, and make sure to keep your doors locked at night as well. Nobody knows for certain what these young men or young ladies' intentions were, but it is better not to know.
