Experts Rank the Top 5 Fast Food Chains in the Gem State
Fast food is one of the great joys in life. While it isn't always healthy, having it to eat after a long trip, a long day at work, or after thinking about a certain meal all day is one of the true joys in life. Not all fast food chains are created equal though. There are certain ones that people crave more than others, and nobody's opinions are the same. Idaho is littered with many fast food options, but trying to decide which ones are the best can be tough. Midernmic.com ranked the best fast food chains in the entire country, and many of the top ones are in Idaho. Here are the top five in the Gem State.
5) Five Guys
Coming in at number five on the list is fittingly Five Guys. They are often brought up in conversations about the best hamburger when it comes to food chains, and rightfully so. They offer great food and delicious shakes, and while expensive, are worth the extra cost for the quality. When it comes to having a good hamburger in Idaho, it is hard to beat Five Guys.
4) Popeye's
Coming in at number four is a place that the Magic Valley has lost on multiple occasions but is doing well in other parts of the state. Popeye's in many people's opinions is the best chicken fast food chain. They offer Cajun fries, biscuits, and perhaps the best chicken sandwich of any fast food chain. There is a reason that when the sandwich returned a few years ago lines were going down the streets at many Popeye's in the country. They rank as the number four best fast food chain in Idaho according to the list.
3) Chipotle
Coming in at number three is a place that has been growing in popularity over the last decade or so, and that is Chipotle. With their healthier food options, delicious salsa, and build-your-own style burritos and bowls, it is easy to see why many people enjoy Chipotle. They recently moved back to the Magic Valley, and they have been thriving since coming back, and for good reason. Many Idahoans would agree that they are a top three food chain in the Gem State.
2) Culver's
Many in the state would make an argument that Culver's should be ranked the number one best fast food chain in Idaho. They have the amazing butter burger, they have good fries, and to top it off, they have incredible shakes, ice cream, and cheese curds as well. They offer a great variety and can be a place you go to for lunch or dinner, or some dessert. They are typically open late, making them a great option on weekends or a late-night snack.. They sadly didn't top the list, but coming in at number two isn't too bad.
1) In-N-Out
They might be the new kids on the block in Idaho, but In-N-Out already takes the crown as the best fast food chain in the Gem State. With the lines and success they have seen in their short time in Idaho, it is no surprise that they are already looking at expanding and adding new locations across the state. The menu is simple, the food is good, and the prices are reasonable. In-N-Out will likely sit as the number-one fast-food chain in Idaho for a while.
