
Fatal Crash on Highway 95 in Idaho South of Moscow Near Washington Border
The Idaho State Police have updated a news release about a fatal accident in Idaho this week.
The original information from ISP listed the wrong date for the accident.
Fatal Accident Reported on Highway Near Idaho College Town
The accident was a single-vehicle crash on March 11th, 2025, at 4:15 PM on Highway 95. The accident happened near mile marker 343, near the college town of Moscow.
A 98-year-old male driver was killed in the crash.

Idaho State Police shared this information in their news release:
- A light green Honda CR-V, driven by a 98-year-old male from Moscow, ID, was traveling northbound on Highway 95 near milepost 343. The vehicle then drove off the right side of the highway and into the ditch before crashing into a telephone pole and coming to a stop.
- The driver was the only occupant and was wearing a seatbelt. The driver sustained severe injuries during the crash and succumbed to his injuries on scene.
The accident impacted travel in the area for about 1 hour. Crews from multiple agencies assisted at the scene of the crash.

Earlier this week, ISP also responded to another fatal accident in Northern Idaho near Sandpoint. A female driver is believed to have been under the influence of alcohol when she crashed her car into a pond.
The driver died at the scene of the crash.
