
UPDATE: Idaho State Police Report Fatal Multi-Vehicle Accident Near the Perrine Bridge
UPDATE 02/05/26: The Idaho State Police have thanked the community for footage provided of the serious accident that happened north of the Perrine Bridge. The male driver of the Ford Escape passed away at the hospital on February 4th. The accident is still under investigation and police are determining whether impairment may have contributed to the crash.
ORIGINAL STORY: An accident on Friday morning sent two people to local medical facilities and involved an unknown number of vehicles.
The crash happened in Southern Idaho at an intersection near the Perrine Bridge in Twin Falls. Impaired driving may have been a contributing factor in the accident, and the Idaho State Police are investigating.
ISP Report a Multi-Vehicle Injury Accident Near the Perrine Bridge in Southern Idaho
The report from the Idaho State Police states that they are investigating an accident that involved two main vehicles, and an undisclosed number of other vehicles were affected, but the condition or level of damage was not stated. The accident happened a few minutes after 9 AM at the Golf Course Road intersection of Highway 93.
In the report, it states:
A black 2012 Ford Escape was making a left turn from northbound US-93 onto Golf Course Road when it was struck by a blue 2022 Ford Bronco driving southbound.
Medical conditions are unknown at this time, but one of the drivers was taken by air ambulance to a regional medical facility, and the other driver was taken by ground ambulance to a local hospital. There were other vehicles involved in the crash, but the report doesn’t say how many.
Police are looking for witnesses to the accident, as it is unclear which vehicle had the right of way at the time of the crash, and the possibility of impaired driving is being investigated.

Idaho 511 has two cameras near the Golf Course Road intersection that could be useful for crash information, though neither camera is close enough to the accident site to capture the traffic signal or identify vehicles at the intersection.
